Toaster is fine. The listing is misleading as the pictures and video show a sandwich toaster rack and a croissant warmer, neither of which are actually included with the toaster. Feels like I’ve been scammed into spending even more money after paying for a Rolls Royce toaster.

Expensive toaster but I'm delighted I bought it and I did so after a lot of thought! One of the many things that annoy me is making toast that is not toasted at the top because the slots are too shallow but are not wide enough to put the bread in sideways. I make our own bread and the slices are quite thick and because the bread rises well they are also quite tall. The slots of a lot of toasters are not very deep and I checked out the depth of the slots on this toaster, and the smaller 2 slice one, and the toasting depth is about 12cm, that's not a very "tall" slice! Checked out the working dimensions of this machine and though the slot depth is 12cm the slot width is 24cm so it's fine for 4 small slices but, more importantly for us, is great for 2 tall slices put in sideways. Took the plunge and for our "tall" homemade loaves this is the perfect machine!

Great toaster but it should be for the price! You can put Warburton on its side for a full toast but only 2 slices.

Received my new Smeg toaster last week and I love it!! Looks great in my kitchen and matches the Smeg kettle I have. Have used the toaster for both heating, waffles, scones and of course for toast. There is lots of space for 4 slices of toast.The toaster heats up very quickly and toast is ready in no time. I was previously using the grill for all my toasting needs but no longer. It comes with a defrost function and for an additional cost you can purchase an item to make toasted sandwiches. Would throughly recommend.

After receiving the toaster to review, i'm rather impressed with it. Build quality is fantastic and it looks a luxury kitchen appliance. It's finished in a gloss black and stainless steel finish with white led lights that illuminate depending on what feature is selected. It has the standard dial gauge for adjusting the length of time the toast is in and also a defrost and bagel option. Check out my video review.

Great looking product and a good buy. My only comment would be some of the chrome feels/looks cheap - because they are plastic - for the money may have expected metal and then would have been superb
