I am pleased with the Vax Mach Air Energise Vacuum Cleaner, The suction on it is fantastic, Its very light weight and easy to empty, but, there is one thing that lets it down, The hose and attachments. The hose is not long enough, so using the attachment's is very awkward, I actually took the bracket off that hold's the hose to the vacuum which did help a little, but it is still not long enough. The attachment's are ok, but could be better, I am using the pet attachment for everything as I find that easier.

I ordered this as I have a back issue and my old vacuum is heavy. This one is flimsy, poor quality and fiddly - the hose is 'clicked' into place and you have to bend and unlock it to enable you to attach it to the tools or the extension piece. (Hard with arthritic fingers - my old one just slots in/out). There is only space to store one of the two tools which come with it so what are you supposed to do with the other one? I found changing the floor/suction setting difficult too. I didn't pay enough attention to the cylinder capacity and it is way too small especially when you consider that this vacuum is marketed as being great for people with pets. I live in small flat with three cats and I had to empty the cylinder after half my living room, which makes me sound filthy but I vacuum every day and pet owners will tell you that there are always lots of hairs. I am seriously considering giving it away and buying the new version of my old vacuum even though it is heavy. Good thing about this one - it is quiet.

Budget friendly with all the same power. This lifted up so much from my carpets and it’s very lightweight so I could easily pick it up to move around whilst using the hose. Would definitely recommend.

Great little vacuum and does what it says on the box. Lightweight, great suction and the slider on the front allows to increase or decrease suction for height of carpet pile. Easy to store. I have had Vax before and find them value for money and have s great customer care team once you have registered with them. Highly recommend to anyone.

It is lightweight and has super suction. Easy to store and didn't cost the earth.
