I have had this washing machine for nearly two months. It looks great but isn't washing well. Washing is not coming out clean. I am using the same powder and conditioner that I have used successfully for years and tried another brand. Jeans with a greasy mark came out with that mark still on. It isn't cleaning dirt off the children's clothes from playing outdoors. The washing does not smell nice when it comes out. I'm having to wash clothes at a hotter temperature (no eco friendly 30 degree washes for this machine) and use a pre-wash or wash the same load twice just to get the clothes somewhat clean. The wash cycles are very long - over two hours each. Miele have sent engineers today but they say that the machine is working perfectly well and to photograph the washing with marks on. The star is for drum size and just how quiet it is. I am noticing fewer washes with this massive drum (though careful not to overload) and as the machine is in the kitchen I appreciate just how quiet it is. No good though if the clothes aren't clean. I expected a lot better from this brand.

Super quiet washing machine - voted top on the which website. 49 minute power wash is brilliant, also has a 20 minute quick wash. Shame AO were more than useless - we paid for installation - they left water pouring over the floor and cabinet, broke a drawer and damaged the floor. Second guy came to install as first guy couldn’t to it? After he left machine flashed up telling me drainage problem - he had not removed stopper from hose.

After many years of hard work with my first Miele machine, it needed replacing. Have not had the machine for very long but absolutely delighted. Quieter, faster and more efficient I am sure than my one from 15 years ago. As a family of 6 that includes 4 boys, I wash daily sometimes 2x a day and 4-6 washes on the weekend. I need a reliable robust machine to do a great job.

I bought this machine and thought I’d be spending the extra to get a good quality product and service from a reputable company. The first machine made small holes in my belongings and when I had engineers out to sort the issue I was made to feel like a liar. Eventually the machine was replaced by the manufacturer but then the second machine just stopped working. Miele offer no compensation if you have damaged items or out of pocket expenses because of their products or services being faulty and I’ve had a huge amount of hoops to jump through to try and get this whole stressful and costly experience sorted. I would never buy a Miele product again because their customer service is atrocious.

I didn't know bad it was living with a noisy washing machine until we got this installed. It's transformed our kitchen and living space because even on a spin cycle, you could talk on the phone right next to this thing. It washes beautifully, it's very easy to operate and I love it quite a lot.

Very efficient machine. Miele washing machine was recommended by a family member, as he has had a Miele washing machine for over 15 years without any problems. I cannot count how many different makes of washing machines I have had during those 15 years as they all seem to get a fault within 2 years and I had to replace them. So I decided to go ahead and purchase a Miele. So far I am not disappointed. The programmes are easy to use. The only criticism I have is the Moblle Smart use, is sorry to say useless, as the machine cannot pick up my WiFi signal. I have looked online and read opinions of other users that they were having similar issues. Thank goodness you can use the washing machine manually without any issues. I have noticed that my 9kg load wash is fresher and clean and that is what I want. My family member did have a ten year guarantee for his washing machine but now Miele only gives a 12 months guarantee, EU directive I have been told. I hope my Miele last a good 10 years and longer, as my family member machine has. I would recommend.

When it was fitted one of the parts was blocked, which prevented the water from flowing into the machine. Once this was removed it worked fine (but still left wondering if this part is needed) - one thing that I dont very annoying is that when a wash finishes it just keeps on beeping, and beeping until your turn it off which is very distracting when you are working and can here a constant beep. For such a modern, top of the range machine this seems ridiculous that this wasn't dealt with in the design phase.

Having parted with an 18 year old Miele Washing Machine, we are disappointed to find that this new one is far from the same build quality. The old one was whisper quiet, this new one is noisy, the old one was rock steady, this new one rattles and shakes. Was this really worth over £900 well spent, I don't think so!!!
