The Bissell Proheat 2x Revolution 18583 Carpet Cleaner is very efficient at cleaning. But to clean out the machine afterwards is not easy. TO get access to clean the brushes you must remove the the side plates , there are three selftapping screws each side, i think that with a fare ammount of use the threads into the plastic will fail, it will then be expensive to replace some of the parts. As an Engineer i would not have bought if i had known.

It's OK but cleaning it is a pain had different ones in the past that were easier to clean.

Good machine - collects water very well after cleaning. Not too heavy or bulky to store

Just used this for the first time and, had only cleaned the carpet a week ago with a 2 year old vax. The carpets on deep clean were not too wet when I finished but, the dirt it got up was amazing. The waste looked like I had not cleaned the carpets in over three years. Very pleased with this machine and it really does what it says. Well worth the money and the reviews on here don’t lie. Yes the machine is loud, but it really sucks up the water really well. Good value, and does an excellent job.

Fantastic carpet washer. Used it immediately to clean three bedrooms and the lounge/dining room, moving all possible furniture so we could get to the maximum area of carpet. Has taken all week but machine is very easy to use and cleans very well. Surprised at how dirty the water was after washing as the lounge catpet has only been down for four years and is regularly vacuumed each week. Proves a washer is necessary every year so we are pleased to have purchased this Bissell. If there is one small criticism of the washer, it is that the waste tank is a bit fiddly to refit after emptying out the dirty water, but this is a very minor gripe.

This is my second Bissell and am really pleased with it. The updated design makes it so much easier to fill, empty & operate in general. Heaps lighter too! Very easy to assemble, in fact my 7 year old Daughter read the instructions and pretty much did it herself. Would definitely recommend.
