I had a vax prior to this which I thought worked well until I brought this one. It's absolutely excellent, lighter and easier to use. Much easier to fill and empty. It cleaned my carpets really really well. I couldn't believe how clean they came up. It was quicker to use and it very cost effective to use. There was hardly any water left on the carpet, I could walk on it within 30 minutes.
