The machine itself is great at carpet cleaning, however mine leaks dirty water and Bissell are not willing to replace it they, want to take it away and investigate the leak. Not the customer service I had hoped for.

Orderd carpet cleaner , deliverd on time , however when opened box the carpet cleaner had been used still dripping with water , rang up to be told manufacturers test products from Time to time , umm!!

I have absolutely loved using this carpet cleaner! I have all grey carpet throughout the house,together with a dog and a cat,my carpets were most definitely ready for a clean...even tho I don’t wear shoes indoors! Well.....what can I say about it?...I hear you ask. 1 It’s extremely easy to use..you do not need to be a rocket scientist 2 It’s lightweight,so you do not need to weight train just to use it! 3 Because it’s an upright,a lot less pushing and pulling is required compared to some I’ve hired! 4 Because it’s an upright....it’s just like doing your usual vacuuming.....just do it slower....and slower is fine with me at the moment (as I am ‘being shielded’ because of health,in this covid 19 times) and have humongous amounts of spare time!! 5 Sucks up the water/solution after cleaning,even on max deep clean,really well,better than expected! So carpet dries quicker than I thought! 6 After all carpets were cleaned and dried...Imwas thrilled to notice that the high traffic areas had really improved and the pile on the carpet was virtually back to normal.....in other words it no longer looked like I’d run a steam roller round my house! 7 Both the sections for filling with clean water and carpet solution and the one for the dirty water are so easy to take out and replace...no fiddling about! 8 After doing my whole house,I thought I’d better treat it with the respect it deserved,after such a good job! I gave it a clean and checked for any trapped dirt,hairs etc,and even that was easy to do as all the bits come off and can be replaced extremely easily! So.......I think we can safely surmise that I think it’s one of the best things I have purchased for a long time! Just wish I had some more carpets to do,or an armchair or a sofa!!......oh yes....it comes with attachments too,to do all those things......see I told you it was brilliant!! Got dogs,cats or other house dwelling pets? Get one of these. Our carpets/ rooms have never smelled so sweet and it’s very simple to use. Only complaint, if it is a complaint is that the machine, when full of water is quite heavy, but hey, water is, isn’t it?

cleans well and comes with good range of tools. The fact the brushes continue to spin when the machine is upright and when using the hose seems like a design flaw.

It has never worked, I am now stuck in the middle of the manufacturer and AO who both say the other one has to sort it out. Avoid, I wish I had gone to John Lewis and got a Vax, both of which have better reputations for customer care. Frustrating ++

This has turned out to be better than I ever thought it could be. Teally easy to put together, really easy to use. Quick process with great results. Having a new dog, my lounge carpet started to look off colour, even though I always wiped his paws before allowing him on the carpet. This cleaner was so easy to use, and it brought out do much dirt. It did not take long to dry and it looks fantastic. Easy to clean afterwards before putting away. It comes with six year warranty and it is worth the cost as same as getting it cleaned professionally twice. I can clean it every month if I want to. It can clean the sofas and the stairs too. So pleased I purchased it.

I have been considering buying a carpet cleaner for a while, particularly as we have a dog, and decided to buy this product as it is a Which? magazine Best Buy recommendation. I have only used it once so far to perform an express clean on a couple of carpets and it performed well with quite some mucky looking water collecting in the tank. The carpets dried in less than an hour and look OK although I plan to do a more thorough deep clean when the weather warms up! The cleaner needs to be assembled which was quite easy following the instructions provided. One slight criticism with the instructions is that it was not clear how to remove the brush cover in order to clean the machine afterwards. In fact, all you need to do is hold the sides of the brush cover while releasing the catches and then lifting it off rather than the instruction to release the catches and just lift it as this initially proved impossible! Otherwise, very satisfied so far.
