It has never worked, I am now stuck in the middle of the manufacturer and AO who both say the other one has to sort it out. Avoid, I wish I had gone to John Lewis and got a Vax, both of which have better reputations for customer care. Frustrating ++

The machine itself is great at carpet cleaning, however mine leaks dirty water and Bissell are not willing to replace it they, want to take it away and investigate the leak. Not the customer service I had hoped for.

Not suitable for thick luxurious carpets. Carpet gets too wet and never dries out. Ruined our carpet, leaving a sticky residue due to the wetness. Impossible to hoover, afterwards.

Orderd carpet cleaner , deliverd on time , however when opened box the carpet cleaner had been used still dripping with water , rang up to be told manufacturers test products from Time to time , umm!!

Manual book not in good details in assemble & operation details. Internet web site checked not comprehensive enough for a new carpet cleaner buyer. Plenty to improve in it. Product trailed not as good as expected.

This machine is very powerful and does a great job. Easy to put together and use once you have studied the poor pictures. I read numerous reviews and watched the video of the lady using the machine and find it strange no one mentioned the excessive noise and high pitched whistling and I mean high pitched whistling. I am used to using noisy power tools in my trade and they all come with decibel warnings in the instructions but strangely this doesn't. I used it for ten minutes without earmuffs and my ears were ringing for the rest of the day. I had to use earmuffs to continue or my ears would have been damaged. Thinking it must be a fault as no one else mentioned it, I contacted Bissell and AO. Bissell were the worst customer service I have ever experienced, difficult to understand and matter not resolved. AO brilliant as always and sent a new machine the next day. However that is also as noisy but I will keep the machine as it really does a good job and easy to use but earmuffs are defiantly needed as its as loud as any power tool I own. Surely it couldn't be another faulty one from the same batch? Just strange no one else mentioned excessive noise! If you want a great machine and don't mind wearing earmuffs that's fine, if you want a quieter machine then this is not the one. Had it not been for the noise I would have given it 5 star.
