I said I would never buy a vax again but somehow managed to do it. Washes well but almost impossible to clean the head. Triedhose, pressure washer and soaking in thebath. Ifanyone else know how to get it cleanlet me know.

Ok product, but noisy and leaves carpets very wet! For the amount of water it uses very little dirty water sucked up! Feel a little disappointed

This works extremely well, my carpets and sofas never looked better. However, after having it for 15 months (and only used maybe 4 or 5 times) there is smoke billowing from it and a burning smell. The warranty is 12 months, so frustrating!!

Only had it a short time, but it des the job very well, is easy to assemble and is pretty simple to use operationally. I recommend buying A LOT more detergent though as the one provided isn't nearly enough to cover more than 2 rooms in one session. It can be a pain to constantly refill the water, but it's easy to do with this machine. I previously hired a much larger Rug Doctor with a bigger water capacity. I was constantly refilling that as well, so it's more of an issue with carpet cleaners generally rather than this machine specifically. Overall...well worth the purchase for domestic, occasional use.

OK only as it seems to pick a lot of the pile up so gets blocked very easily even after a very good vacuum before use.

Bought the machine August 2022. Used barely 5 times in my house. Living room twice, stairs and a small back bedroom. Let’s just say it trips the electrics and the motor has just given up. Vax refused to do anything, after multiple complaints they finally sent me a new machine. New machine is doing the exact same thing and it’s been used once! AVOID THIS MACHINE!

Defective out of the box! Valve from clean water tank jammed open and not able to switch off. So far have given the same information to Vax four times but still no resolution!

I’ve been on the verge of buying a carpet washer for almost a year now, and I always talked myself out of it until now, and I am so glad I went ahead and got this one. It’s fantastic, and makes the carpets look, feel and smell so much cleaner! The water tank is easy to fill with solution, and the dirty water tank empties so easily without any danger of spillage. It’s not the lightest thing to carry, but when you’re pushing it along the floor it doesn’t feel that heavy and goes along with ease.
