I've only scored a 3 star because the cleaner it's self is very good. However My first one had to go back as it was tripping my electrics . AO were great and sorted a replacement in no time. So as long as this on is okay it would be a 5 star rating.

This works extremely well, my carpets and sofas never looked better. However, after having it for 15 months (and only used maybe 4 or 5 times) there is smoke billowing from it and a burning smell. The warranty is 12 months, so frustrating!!

OK only as it seems to pick a lot of the pile up so gets blocked very easily even after a very good vacuum before use.

Left the carpets a bit wetter than I anticipated. One carpet took over 24 hours.

I said I would never buy a vax again but somehow managed to do it. Washes well but almost impossible to clean the head. Triedhose, pressure washer and soaking in thebath. Ifanyone else know how to get it cleanlet me know.

Easy to use and cleans well! Only downside is it doesn’t suction up all of the water as well as it could but if you leave it to dry it cleans the carpets well so would recommend!

Delivery was great, and package intact. It required a bit of assembly but wasn’t too onerous. This cleaner was to replace a Bissel which finally bit the dust. Comparing to the Bissel, the Vax does not seem as robust, although it is at a very different price point. In terms of cleaning performance, I like the separate tanks for the fluids. Good cleaning is achieved, although the water pick up could be a little better. I haven’t yet found a good way of cleaning behind the rollers which is a bit annoying. Overall a pretty decent carpet cleaner for the price.

Lightweight and easy to use - much like a vacuum cleaner. However not really suitable for pets - the brush bar can't be easily removed, nor can the housing making it very diffcult to clean dog hair out of the mechanisim. But if you don't it will surely clog up quickly...
