Upgraded from a condenser to the heat pump tumble. Drying times are approximately the same time. The heat pump doesn't give off as much condensation, which is great. Previously, I would have to open the windows when running the tumble as the windows would get steamy, but not anymore. Ive not checked the electricity usage, but we run it nearly every day, so hopefully our electricity costs come right down. Volume wise, it's not too noisy either. Overall, very happy.

The energy savings are for real. A great buy - will dry a a full 9KG load for 1KWh. Can't believe I didn't buy one of these sooner. Will pay for itself in a couple of years. Lots of programmes and the dryness sensor is a boon. No over drying and your clothes are no longer heated to destruction.

Broke just over a month after we bought it. Should be fixable, but so glad we had a warranty with Hotpoint! Before it broke it was brilliant - quiet, energy efficient and really good and keeping clothes crease free, even if they’re left in for a little while after the cycle finishes. Others have said, but ensure you clean the filter regularly and empty the water tank. I got into the habit of doing it after each use to keep it in great condition.

Seems very good, quiet, dries well in a reasonable time. Looks to be cheaper than my old dryer to run even though it takes longer. Easy to use.
