Sony has a reputation built on generations of excellence, and this latest TV is no exception. It delivers the same high quality that has made Sony a trusted brand over the generations. The picture and sound quality are absolutely top-notch—sharp visuals and immersive audio make for an outstanding viewing experience, whether for movies, shows, or gaming. The design is another highlight. It's sleek and slim, blending seamlessly into any room while giving a modern, sophisticated feel. The only downside I encountered was with the packaging. To remove the TV, I had to break the box, which means I couldn’t keep it for later use. While this might be an issue for those who like to store their boxes, it’s a small inconvenience in the grand scheme. Even with this minor flaw, the TV easily deserves a 5+ rating. Sony continues to set the bar high, and this product reaffirms why their reputation for excellence is well-earned.

I love this TV. It is slightly larger than the model it replaces, which enhances the visual presence. The colours are very vivid and the resolution is crystal clear, but my main interest was in the sound quality. I have struggled for a long time to draw the speech out of the often overwhelming background music, but this Sony TV lives up to my high expectations. I no longer need the soundbar and sub woofer, nor do I need to switch on the subtitles. Very pleased indeed.

This a 2023 model heavily discounted to make room for the 2024 model. This happens every year about now, it's all about timing. The A80L is one of the 3 top tv's 55inch or bigger, medium priced, over the last year. All round performance with a good innovative sound is what attracted me most. I’m in my late 70s, hearing and eyesight not as good as it was, no interest in gaming. This TV has allowed me to switch off captions, stop squinting and enjoy great natural colours. It does not need a soundbar and as a bonus the upscaleing of my backup aerial reception is also magnificent. I gave it 4 stars simply because it is last years model.

Wanted an upgrade on my old LG LED tv that I’d had for about 10 years. I can honestly say I’m very happy that I picked the A80L. The picture is so crisp and vivid, Blu-ray, Sky-HD and PS5 games all look amazing. Older SD content looks good on it too, on my old tv this could sometimes be slightly blurry and out of focus but not anymore. Very happy customer, I’d give it 6 stars if I had the option!!

First class product. Have tried a few makes of tv but Sony comes out a clear winner. First time trying the OLED tv but so far very pleased.
