Always sample your sangria to make any adjustments to suit your personal taste. Keep your sangria in the fridge until ready to serve.

Here's how it's done...

You will need...

  • 200 fresh strawberries, plus extra for garnish
  • Handful red grapes
  • 3 tbsp sugar or honey
  • Juice of a lemon
  • 1 small orange, sliced
  • Handful fresh mint leaves
  • 1 bottle chilled Rosé wine or Sparkling Rosé
  • 120ml chilled pink grapefruit juice
  • 60ml vodka (or spirit of your choice)
  • Ice, to serve

Here's how it's done

    Slice the strawberries and grapes.

  • 2

    Place in a bowl and add the lemon juice and sugar. Stir to combine and leave for 10 minutes to allow the fruit to release their juice.

    Transfer the fruit and juices into a large pitcher.

    Pour in the grapefruit juice and stir well to dissolve the sugar.

    Add the orange slices, vodka and mint and stir again.
