    Steam Cooking Yorkshire Puddings Recipe

    We challenged AOers to cook Yorkshire pudding in a steam oven from a cold start, testing both the oven's feature and the participants' culinary skills.

    You can recreate the Yorkshire puddings in the video by following along with the below recipe.

    Here's what you'll need:

    List of ingredients /equipment e.g.


    Equipment:
    Steam Oven
    Whisk
    Muffin Tray

    Ingredients:
    5 eggs
    125ml milk
    150g plain flour
    Pinch of salt

    For Cooking:
    Vegetable oil

    Step one

    Pour the tap water into the well at the bottom of the oven.

     

    Step two

    Mix all ingredients together in a jug with a whisk, other than the vegetable oil.

     

    Step three

    Add a tiny drop of veg oil to each hole in a muffin tin.

     

    Step four

    Set oven to steam function and set temperature to 220c.

     

    Step five

    Set oven to steam function and set temperature to 220c.

     

    Step six

    Cook for 18 mins, do not open the oven door during this time.

     

    Final step

    Carefully remove Yorkshire’s as the steam will billow out of the oven when you open it.
