Being house proud, it’s disheartening when dirt and lint is left on the floor no matter how many times I go over it with the vacuum. It’s like a face off. Who will give up first? The lint? Me? It’s usually me.
I pick it all up off the floor, roll it between my fingers hoping that creating this mass of lint will mean the vacuum will finally pick it up and I don’t have to walk 15 steps across the room to put it in the bin. Again, I fail. Off to the bin I go. This has been my life for the last 2 years, until now.
I’m a hands on DIYer. If I haven’t created a bunch of mess, I haven’t been innovative enough. I love the process; I love creating the mess. Whether it’s saw dust, tiny flakes of wallpaper or crumbs from the DIY snacks; the more mess, the closer I am to the finish line.
What I don’t love though, is having to clean it all up afterwards. I’ve got to heave my bulky vacuum down the stairs, find somewhere to plug it in and then try and squeeze it into the corners of the skirting boards to pick up all those DIY crumbs. Then I’ve got to try and find the right attachment that fits said corners, only to find out it still won’t pick up the crumbs because the vacuum lost all its suction power about a year after I bought it.
Along comes the Miele Triflex cordless vacuum cleaner. It’s lightweight but powerful, and comfort mode makes deep cleaning the entire house on one charge effortless and comfortable. Good bye to achy hands from holding down the power button and carrying the weight in your arm, like a traditional upright, with comfort mode the weight of the unit is at the bottom of the vacuum so you just select the power setting and go. And better yet, it leaves my home spotless with no piece of furniture left unturned. It sounds silly but being able to continuously vacuum from carpet to hard flooring without having to press a button or change any attachments is a breath of fresh air. It’s made keeping on top of daily and deep clean housework so easy.
Before Reach mode, I used to have to move heavy furniture like my coffee table when I was vacuuming, but It’s a delight being able to just vacuum straight underneath low furniture without having to faff about. Now I can clean awkward spaces like these more than just once a week, and I don’t have to psych myself up any more either. Yay. It’s actually enjoyable too, I’ve found myself really getting into it and vacuuming places higher up like my ceilings. The Miele Triflex makes it so easy.
I always feel like I’m adulting successfully when I do things like vacuum the sofa, beds, cushions and curtains. You know, all those places that collect dust because you just forget to vacuum them, but when you do, it makes all the difference. Well, Compact Mode has made cleaning those become a regular feature in my vacuuming routine. And because it’s so easy, I’ve been wondering and searching for anything else that I might have forgotten about.
The Miele Triflex is my favourite vacuum to date. The 3-in-1 benefit makes cleaning the entire house an absolute doddle with just one tool. What I love the most is how powerful the suction is. The air feels so clean after using it, because it practically sucks the dust out of the air. Bye bye stuffy, dusty rooms and embedded dirt and hair in carpets and on furniture!
It performs better than my existing corded vacuum (from a very well-known brand) which is amazing because it’s battery operated! I’m not sure I want to admit this, but I’ve never seen dust and dirt collected like this before. I thought I was a clean freak; I had no idea this was lingering in my soft furnishings and floors! It gives the carpets a deep clean and you can really tell by how fresh a room feels once you’re done. I’m even convinced it sucks dust particles out of thin air!
Honestly though, if you were debating buying the Miele Triflex cordless vacuum cleaner, just bite the bullet and do it. I promise you won’t regret it.
