Skip the frozen lolly aisle at the supermarket and head straight for the fresh fruit. These lollies are super-easy and packed full of goodness.
They’re made with a blend of banana and yoghurt layered between shots of pure fruit purée. There’s no need to freeze between layers, so they’re quick to prepare and simple work for little hands.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED...
- 2 large bananas
- 6 tbsp natural yoghurt
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 large handful of blueberries
- 1 large handful of strawberries
- 2 kiwis
- 1 x 6 hole lolly mould
TIP
You don’t have to stick with the fruit blend we used. You could add/take away any fruits you choose and enjoy some fun, yummy experimentation.
HERE'S HOW IT'S DONE...
-
1
Blend the honey, peeled bananas and yoghurt together until smooth and then set aside.
-
2
Blend the other fruits separately, one at a time to create purées. Wash the blender between uses.
-
3
Start your lollies with a tablespoon of fruit purée in each mould. You have three purées to choose from, so put kiwi in two lollies, strawberry in two and blueberries in two. Next, add a tablespoon of your banana yoghurt.
-
4
Next add a tablespoon of fruit purée, contrasting in each lolly with whatever you added last time. Top up with more banana yoghurt until you reach the top of your moulds. Freeze for a few hours until fully solid (we did ours overnight).

To release them, you may need to run the moulds briefly under hot water, then enjoy!
