    Creme egg shots

    Creme egg shots are here and we're so excited to try them.

    "If you love creme eggs as much as we do, make your own Easter inspired dessert-style shots using just creme eggs, some Irish cream liqueur, ice cream and a splash of vodka. Don’t fancy using ice cream? You can make a lighter version of the recipe by swapping that step for some crushed ice."

    Here's what you'll need and how it's done

    • 2 creme eggs
    • 1/2 cup Irish cream liqueur
    • Two scoops of ice cream
    • 1 vodka shot
    • Sprinkles

    For the frosting…

    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 3 cups icing sugar
    • 2 to 3 tbsp milk

    Here´s how it´s done

    Step 1

    In a bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy. Gradually add the icing sugar, mixing well. Add milk a tablespoon at a time until you get a smooth, spreadable consistency. Set aside.



    Step 2

    Unwrap the Creme Eggs and melt them gently—either in the microwave for 15-20 seconds or over a bain-marie. Be careful not to burn. Let cool slightly.



    Step 3

    In a blender, combine the melted Creme Eggs, Irish cream liqueur, ice cream, and vodka. Blitz until smooth and creamy.



    Step 4

    Pour the shot mix into small glasses or shot glasses. Top with a swirl of the prepared frosting.



    Step 5

    Sprinkle your favourite sprinkles on top for that fun, festive look.
