How to improve the air quality at home

A home with fresh clean air is a happy home. Not only that, but it’ll have great benefits for you and your family, from keeping allergies at bay, to keeping everyone that little bit healthier. But, with homes being tightly sealed, it can be easy for pollutants to overstay their welcome. Here a few ways you can improve the air quality in your home.

Air purifier

An air purifier will almost definitely rid the air in your home of the bad stuff. Just plug it in and it will suck up the air and trap any pollutants such as pollen or dust mites before releasing the nice clean air back into your home.

Good vacuum cleaner

A good vacuum cleaner is worth its weight in gold. Not only will they keep the floors in your home crumb free, a good model will also get rid of allergens tucked away in your carpets. You’ll want one with a HEPA filter as they trap all the bad stuff, so you won’t have to breathe it in.

Open the window

Sometimes it’s just as simple as opening a window. By keeping your home well ventilated with fresh air, pollutants will struggle to linger around. And it’ll help the circulation of air in your home, meaning you’re only breathing in the good stuff.

Chemical free cleaning products

Choose cleaning products without the chemicals. Not only will you be keeping yourself and your family away from potentially harmful substances, you’ll also be helping the environment. Check out our handy article for more info.
