With summer in full swing there’s always a need for popsicles, right? Whilst there are more variations and flavours than I can even begin to imagine, sometimes it’s the good, old and straight forward ones that are what is needed. Simple fruit popsicles will always go down a treat with kids and are the most refreshing kind whilst also being pretty healthy. That’s pretty much all the advantages right there!
Here's what you'll need...
- 500g fresh cherries
- Juice of 1 lime
- 2tbs sugar
Here's how it's done...
-
1
Start by washing and destoning the cherries.
-
2
Next, put the whole cherries, sugar and lime juice into a blender.
-
3
Process until smooth. Fill each of the popsicle moulds until nearly full, a funnel works really well and will save you a lot of mess.
-
4
Put the tops and sticks onto the mould. Freeze over night.
-
5
To un-mould, dip into a glass of hot water for a few seconds.
