    Chestnut, Pear & Pancetta Autumn Salad

    With the tastes of the season, this salad is the perfect light meal or starter.

    Whether you want something easy to cook up for you lunch, or you’re swapping out your chips for a healthy side salad, why not give this sweet and salty recipe a try?


    What you'll need for the salad:

    • 60 grams of lamb lettuce
    • 70 grams pancetta
    • 100 grams chestnuts
    • 2 Pears
    • Shallot

    What you’ll need for the dressing

    • 60ml of balsamic vinegar
    • 177ml olive oil
    • 1 tbsp of grainy mustard

    Step 1

    Add a little bit of oil to a pan and fry off your pancetta. This will crispen up the pieces and should taken around 5 minutes.

    Step 2

    Slice up your pears, shallots and cut your chestnuts into chunks.

    Step 3

    Create your dressing by mixing your olive oil, balsamic vinegar and grainy mustard. Stir with a spoon.

    Step 4

    Serve your pears, shallots and chestnuts and pancetta on top of a bed of lamb lettuce and drizzle your dressing on top.
