    Creepy krispy treats

    These creepy krispy treats are scarily good - snap, crackle, and boo!

    Here's what you'll need

    • Rice Krispies
    • Marshmallows
    • Butter
    • Vanilla extract
    • White chocolate
    • Green food colouring
    • Black & white decorative icing
    • Edible decorative eyes

    Here's how it's done

    Heat 50g of butter on a low heat. Once fully melted, add 250g of marshmallows to the pot.

    Add a teaspoon of vanilla extract and mix regularly until fully melted.

    Add 200g of Rice Krispies to the pot and quickly mix with a silicone spatula to prevent sticking.

    Transfer mixture to a lined baking tin and press mixture down to compact tightly into the baking tin.

    Refrigerate for 2-3 hours to allow marshmallow to set and remove from the fridge and remove the krispy slab from the baking tin.

    Cut into rectangle shapes and melt some white chocolate over a low heat on a bain-marie in a metal or glass bowl.

    Once melted and glossy, take off of heat and add green food colouring to the chocolate. Dip the krispy shapes into the chocolate so around ⅓ is covered in chocolate.

    Decorate how you like using the black and white icing and edible eyes.
