    Now boarding: The frequent fryer

Because Brits can’t holiday without their air fryer

There’s a new travel essential Brits are refusing to leave behind – and no, it’s not SPF or a passport wallet. It’s their air fryer.

If you’re the kind of person who’s ever considered packing your trusty air fryer for a holiday (or already has – no judgement here), you’re not alone. Our latest research has revealed just how far the UK’s love for air fryers goes.

The air fryer obsession is real

We asked Brits about their travel habits, and the results were clear: air fryers are officially a holiday essential. Here’s what we found:

    • One in five take an air fryer away with them on holiday.
    • Nearly a quarter of 25–34-year-olds would pay for extra baggage just to bring one.
    • 27% of Brits said they’d take one abroad if it were easier to pack.
    • Even some say they have removed clothes or toiletries just to make room in their case.
    • One in five say access to an air fryer influences where they choose to stay
    • One in Seven would avoid booking a place if it didn’t have one
    • In cities like Cardiff and Manchester, some even say they wouldn’t book a holiday at all if they couldn’t bring theirs

    Introducing: The frequent fryer suitcase

To cater for Brits who can’t bear to leave their appliance behind, we’ve designed a limited-edition travel case, custom built to fit a standard single-draw air fryer. It’s crafted from brushed aluminium with a transparent front panel and it fits within airline hold luggage size limits – so you can check it in without a problem. Whether you’re crisping croquetas in Spain or reheating roasties in the UK, your favourite kitchen gadget can now come along for the ride.

Isabella Forgione, AO’s small appliance expert says “We know how important home comforts are to our customers – and for many, the air fryer tops the list. The Frequent Fryer Case is a fun but functional response to a growing trend, making it easier than ever to take a much-loved appliance on holiday.”
