There’s nothing more dads love than a hearty full English breakfast. To show appreciation to dads this Father’s Day, ao.com have created the Breakfast Platter, a selection of breakfast muffins that will go down an absolute treat!

    Here's what you'll need...

    • 2 English muffins
    • 1 slice streaky bacon
    • 1 beef tomato
    • 2 slices black pudding
    • Small handful grated cheese
    • 1 spring onion
    • Butter (for muffins and to grease)
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 slice prosciutto
    • 1 slice smoked salmon
    • salt and pepper

    Here's how they're done... Muffin 1

Halve, toast and butter the muffins. Snip up the bacon, slice the tomato and fry with the black pudding until crispy, set aside. Stack up the black pudding and tomato in layers.

    Muffin 2

Grease a mug and add an egg, season and beat. Microwave in 3 x 20 second bursts, whisking with a fork in between, then stir in chopped spring onion.Top a muffin half with the scrambled eggs and finish with ruffle prosciutto.

    Muffin 3

Cover a muffin half with grated cheese and season, place under grill until bubbling. Top the grilled cheese muffin with the bacon bits you made earlier.

    Muffin 4

Grease a mug and fill with just boiled water, break an egg into it and add straight to the microwave for 50 seconds. Tip the poached egg on to the final muffin half and top with a ruffle of smoked salmon.
