    Good condition phones

Ready to trade in your phone? You’re in the right place and the good news is “good condition” is much simpler than it sounds. Here’s exactly what we look for so there’s no surprises when you send it back.

Good condition means the device still works exactly as it should, with no cracks, chips, dents, heavy scratches or screen defects like dead pixels. Some minor signs of wear and tear are fine, like the odd light scratch, but there shouldn’t be anything that’s affecting the phone’s performance, like unresponsive touchscreens or any ports that aren’t fully functional.

    What does good look like?

Things to check before you return your phone

Does your phone turn on and reach the home screen without any hiccups?

We just need to know that it powers up and works as it should.

Is all personal data removed and are activation locks turned off?

This includes features like Find My iPhone and any device PINs. We can’t accept your phone if these haven’t been removed.

Is the front or back glass free of any cracks, chips or severe damage?

Light wear and tear is fine. Cracks and chips unfortunately can’t be accepted.

    Is the screen working properly?

This includes being free from any screen burn-in, dead pixels, flickering blue lines and any other display defects.

Are all components intact and working?

Check that features like cameras, speakers, buttons, microphone, battery and charging ports all work as they should.

Is the battery still working as it should?

Your battery should hold charge and support normal daily use without it shutting down unexpectedly, overheating, or showing signs of swelling.

Remember, minor wear and tear is fine

We’re checking for damage, not use. Everyday surface marks from 2 years of normal use are to be expected.
