A force is building that threatens to bring everything to ruin, and Final Fantasy Resonance follows a group of companions bound by fate as they set out to uncover the truth behind it. Their road runs through a pixel-art world stitched together from airships, crystals, espers and moogles, with Visions, the echoes of much-loved heroes, answering the call to fight alongside the party. Combat is turn-based, so weaknesses get picked apart until enemies stagger, defences break and extra turns open up for a big Resonance attack. Plenty of secrets sit off the main path too, from the wandering swordmaster Gilgamesh to a final showdown with Ultima Weapon.
