It’s Halloween night, 1978, and the families of quiet Haddonfield are making holiday preparations with no idea what’s walking their streets. Michael Myers has come home. In Halloween: The Game you pick a side, either pulling on the mask as The Shape and stalking residents from the shadows, or playing a Hero of Haddonfield racing to warn neighbours and get them out alive. Frightened townsfolk fight back and call the police, so patrols grow tougher the longer you hunt. Heroes scrap together household items and weapons, and can even arm the locals to buy themselves time to escape. There’s a standalone single-player story mode too, following the events of The Night He Came Home through Michael’s eyes.
