Miyamoto Musashi arrives in Edo-period Kyoto to prove that nobody alive can match him with a blade. What he finds instead is a capital choking under clouds of Malice, with fiends called Genma dragged up from the lowest depths of hell and left free to terrorise the streets. Strapped to his arm is the Oni Gauntlet, a mystical artefact that gives him strength beyond human limits and lets him absorb Genma souls to grow stronger. A voice rings out from that gauntlet, mind you, and Musashi has no idea whose it is. Onimusha: Way of the Sword - Premium Deluxe Edition follows his blood-soaked path through the twisted capital as he searches for his real reason to fight.
