Want to share photos without posting them online? Easy. Screen mirroring lets you show your pictures and videos straight on your TV without any uploading or installing extra apps.

How to screen mirror your photos to the TV if you've got an iPhone

Make sure your TV and iPhone are connected to the same Wi Fi network.

    • Open Control Centre:
    • Swipe down from the top-right on newer iPhones
    • Swipe up from the bottom on older models
    • Tap Screen Mirroring
    • Select your TV from the list

Your screen will appear on your TV, just open your photos or videos and start scrolling.

    If you've got an Android

    • Check your TV and phone both support screen mirroring
    • Make sure they’re connected to the same Wi Fi network
    • Turn on screen mirroring on your TV (usually in Input or Network settings)
    • Select your TV from your phone

Your phone screen will now appear on your TV. Open your photos and videos as normal and enjoy them on a bigger screen.

If you’re using an HDMI cable

    Connect your cable

    • Plug one end into your TV’s HDMI port
    • Plug the other into your device, you may need a compatible adapter or cable (such as USB-C to HDMI or Lightning to HDMI) depending on your phone or tablet.
    • Select the right input

    Turn on your TV

    • Press the Input or Source button
    • Choose the correct HDMI port (HDMI 1 or HDMI 2)

Your device should now appear on screen, just open your photos or videos and start browsing.
