We’re still delivering to our customers safely by follow social distancing guidelines, and we would appreciate it if you could work with us to do the same upon delivery and throughout any installation service by keeping your distance and waiting in another room. We recommend that you clean surfaces and handles once any installation is completed as an extra precaution. Drivers have been given gloves and facemasks and are encouraged to wear them – if your driver isn’t then please feel free to ask them to wear them.
Our fully trained team can get your new gas oven up and running on delivery day for just £100. Our team is Gas Safe registered, so you know they’re up to the task – they can even remove your old oven and will give you a gas certificate. Find out what’s included in this service and what you can do to prepare for us.
We’ll give you a ring before delivery day to do some important checks and make sure everything is ready for when we arrive. If you’ve selected our connection service for your new appliance, we’ll happily disconnect your old one for you.
We need to do a gas test before and after the installation. So, if you’re on a meter, make sure it’s topped up. We’ll unpack your new oven when we get there and even disconnect your old one. We’re nice like that. Don’t worry about cables. We’ll bring everything we need to get your new oven installed.
Before we leave, we’ll make sure your oven is level and working so you can get cooking. We’ll take at least 8 pictures during installation, just so we’ve got a record of the service.
Picked our Remove & Recycle service? We’ll take away your old oven when we leave.
The room the oven is going in will need direct ventilation outside – so at least a window to crack open. This is the case with most gas appliances.
We’ll need to hook you up to an existing gas supply, so double check you’ve got one. If you’ve got a meter, we’ll need to use it. So, make sure it’s topped up. There’ll also need to be a 3-pin socket or cooker point (big red switch) within 1.5 metres of where your new oven is going.
Make sure your current electrical connection (plug socket or big red switch) matches what your new oven needs. If your new oven is over 3kw, then you’ll need a 16Amp or 32Amp fuse - a big red switch. If your new oven is below 3kw, then you’ll only need a standard 12Amp fuse – a regular plug socket. Compare what you have with the details of your new oven on the Key Information tab on our product pages to make sure you’re all set.
While you’re on the Key Information section on our product pages, it’s worth checking the dimensions of your new oven, just to make sure you’ve got enough space in your kitchen.
