Have you heard of freakshakes? It’s a wonderfully over-the-top combination of milkshake and dessert that originated in Australia but is currently taking the Uk by (sweet) storm. Anything goes when it comes to topping freakshakes – they are meant to be visually striking as well as an extremely indulgent. Here I have freaked (pimped?) out hot chocolate instead seeing as it is winter and you might prefer your drink hot rather than cold.
Prepare your jar or glass and toppings before the hot chocolate so that it is ready to be topped while still warm. I have suggested some toppings below but they are mere suggestions – you can simply let your imagination run wild!
