Make your phone feel like yours with a personal voicemail greeting. Whether you’re keeping it casual or using it for business, we’ve got tips to help you set the right tone for every missed call.

    Default greeting

Your network has a standard voicemail message that plays automatically when you miss a call. Most say something like “the person you are calling is unavailable” and might include your phone number.

    Custom greeting

This is a message you can record in your own words letting callers know they’ve reached the right person and what to do next, like leaving a message or sending you a text instead.

    Recording a new message

    1. Open your call settings → voicemail tab Or press and hold 1 on your keypad

    2. Look for greetings, settings or voicemail options

    3. Choose 'record new' or 'custom greeting'

    4. Record your message – make sure you speak clearly and at a natural pace

    5. Replay the recording to check it’s clear

    6. Save when you’re happy with it
