Cooking for a crowd? This Hotpoint induction hob measures 77cm across and splits into 4 independent areas, so a pan can slide from searing heat to a slow poach without you touching the controls. Join the zones up and there's room for a fish kettle or a teppanyaki grill. The Active Cook sensors read the temperature of your oil and tell you when the next ingredient goes in, which takes the guesswork out of a big batch of onion bhajis. Once the pans are off, the flat glass-ceramic top wipes down with a cloth.
