Please note: this model has a Power Management Function. Some induction hobs can be plugged in at the wall, rather than needing an electrician to hard-wire it. If you choose to plug in, the Power Management Function will limit the power to each zone. For example, if you have a 13 amp connection, the heat levels across all four zones cannot add up to more than 12. So, if one zone is on level 8 and you turn another zone to level 7 (8+7=15), the first zone will automatically be reduced to level 5 (5+7=12).

Weeknight curries come together quickly on this Bosch Serie 4 induction hob. Induction heats the base of the pan rather than the glass around it, so heat is concentrated right where the pan sits. The TouchSelect panel sits along the front, with 17 power levels to pick from at a tap. Need room for your biggest pans? CombiZone links two zones into one larger zone on a shared heat setting. When you’re pushed for time, PowerBoost pushes extra power into a single zone, up to 50% more than that zone’s highest standard level. The timer switches an assigned zone off once your set time runs out — that’s one less thing to think about.
