Fancy getting a proper crust on a steak sandwich? This Smeg Universal Classic hob heats using electromagnets, so the pan itself warms up rather than the glass around it, which means less heat drifting off into the kitchen. Autopot detection works out where your pan is sitting and fires up the right zone straight away, while the front touch controls stay within easy reach. At 60cm wide it also fits gas hob cut-outs, so swapping the old one out shouldn't mean any extra work.

To get the most out of this hob, please check compatibility before buying. Connecting hob and hood technology only works with compatible appliances from the same manufacturer.
