Pop a pan down and this Smeg induction hob gets straight to work, with Autopot Detection spotting where the pan sits and firing up the right zone. Each of the 4 zones runs at 2100 Watts, rising to 3000 Watts on double boost, giving you powerful heat when you need it. Link the two MultiZones together and you have a 210 x 360mm cooking area that takes a long baking tray or a griddle. The Evo Slider touch controls only appear while you're cooking, and the hob talks to a matching Smeg hood over Bluetooth, so the hood works in sync and adjusts automatically as you cook. It drops into a 60cm gas or electric cut-out, which makes swapping out an older hob fairly painless.
