Swipe with the palm of your hand
Because sometimes pressing buttons feels like too much effort.
- Go to Settings > Advanced features > Motions and gestures.
- Turn on Palm swipe to capture.
- Now, just swipe the edge of your hand across the screen.
It feels futuristic, and once you’ve tried it, you’ll wonder why every phone doesn’t do this.
Just a tap with the Assistant Menu
Perfect if you’d rather avoid button gymnastics.
- Head to Settings > Accessibility > Interaction and dexterity.
- Turn on Assistant Menu.
- Tap the floating menu, hit Screenshot, and you’re sorted.
This one’s especially handy if you’re multitasking or prefer onscreen shortcuts.
Lights, camera, screen action

Swipe down from the top to open the Quick Panel.
Find Screen Recorder (add it with the “+” if it’s hiding).

- Media + mic (your voice plus the phone’s audio)
Tap Start Recording. A countdown gives you a moment to prep.
When you’re done, tap the stop icon at the top.
Find your saved footage in the Gallery > Screen recordings.
