Summer – as far as I’m concerned – is the perfect time for fresh and fruity smoothies. Whether it’s as a cool and refreshing afternoon pick-me-up, as a snack or as breakfast, packed with fresh goodness and nutrients, smoothies and smoothie bowls are a great way to get your 5-a-day as well as filling you up.
Breakfast smoothie bowls are of course also a great idea if you’re looking to start the day on a healthy note. I mean, who wants to eat jam on toast every day or porridge in the middle of summer, right? With just a little planning ahead (mainly your shopping list) you can whip each of these up in less than 5 minutes using the fab Nutribullet.
Put all the ingredients into the Nutribullet. Process for 1 minute. Pour into a bowl, decorate and serve immediately.
