Accept & closeWith a smooth finish and a subtle lift, flicked out ends are more than your typical day-to-day ‘do. While this style is no stranger to the red carpet, there’s no reason why you can’t rock this look at any occasion.
To towel-dried hair, pop in a blow-dry cream to protect it from heat and smooth it out. Apply it to the mid-ends and work any leftover further up.
Using the pre-styling dryer attachment, dry your hair about 80% of the way. Since the Airwrap barrels can’t get right up the roots, get them nice and dry for some added volume.
Use clips to divide your hair, so that the bottom is separate from the top.
Place the 40mm Airwrap barrel on top of the ends of your hair, rolling it upwards to create the flick. Repeat this all the way around each section.
For more exaggerated flicks, run a comb through the ends to make sure they’re going in the right direction. Use a smoothing cream to set the ends and tame frizz.
Depending on your hair length and cut, your look will turn out a little different. If you’re hair is layered and textured, the flicks will be higher up. But if your hair is longer with a little more shape, the flicks will be at the bottom going backwards.
Now you know how to nail this look, it might even become your new signature style.
