    TV Set Up

    Get up and running on delivery day

    Once you’ve picked your perfect telly, add the TV Set Up service to help get it going. Our expert team will get it ready to watch right away, so you’ll be flicking through channels with your feet up before you know it.

    What we'll do

    • Disconnect your old TV and remove it from the stand. If your TV’s fixed to the wall, unfortunately we can’t disconnect it for you
    • Unpack your new TV and attach the feet or base. Remember to check your stand is wide enough for the feet or base of your TV before heading to the checkout
    • Connect the aerial and other devices, like TV boxes and games consoles
    • Link your new telly to the WiFi - please have the password handy to help speed things along
    • If you’ve picked up a new soundbar or gaming system and have all the right cables and ports, we’ll connect it for you
    • We’ll take the packaging with us for recycling
    • We can even take away your old TV and recycle this at the same time. Just add the Remove & Recycle service to your basket and we’ll do the rest

    What you need to do

    You’ve already done the hardest bit and picked the perfect, new TV, so once you’ve checked out with the Set Up service, there’re a few bits we need you to get ready before we arrive:

    Make sure the TV unit is wide enough for the feet or base to sit comfortably on. You can find this info on the product page.

    Check all the cables are long enough to reach the TV. If you want to order any new wires, you can browse out our range here.

    Your plug socket should be within 1m of your new TV. If it’s not, have an extension cable handy.

    If you want us to set up your Smart TV features, you’ll need an existing WiFi network for us to connect to.

    What we don't cover

    • Disconnecting and removing your old TV from a wall mount
    • Fixing your new TV to the wall or an existing bracket
    • If we can't get you set up on the day because of an issue within your control, there will still be a charge for the service.
