This model has a timer facility which my old hob did not have -
a useful addition. From the limited usage to date I am happy
that I have made a good choice. Not the cheapest but very
good value for money.

Overall, I’m quite happy with my new Hotpoint hob, but I do think that it is unnecessarily complicated to operate. Takes a while to get the hang of it, but otherwise it works very well.
