For the price, this works very well - plenty of steam when you want it with no delay (our last steam generator made you wait 5 seconds for quite a modest steam output, then needed 10-20 seconds to recover). It is also very quiet when pressing the steam button - the only loud noise is when the pump re-pressurises the tank after several steam shots. Overall, very impressed with this unit- definitely as good as some much higher priced ones.

The first one I received had an issue with the handle that allowed steam to leak out exactly where you hold it. I contacted AO and sent them pictures and they immediately sent a replacement. The replacement functions perfectly, the only issue with it I am having is the dial appears to have no impact on the operation of the iron, turning it one way is supposed to give a continual stream of steam but in the 4 times i have used it so far this has only happened once and I have devolved into a 1950s burglar trying to crack a combination safe spinning the dial one way then the other to try to recreate whatever I did to make it happen that one time. I have not been successful yet and have started to doubt my memory of it having worked at all. The button steam spray makes up for it. All in all, I wish I paid more for a Tefal one.
