Heats up and cooks very fast compared to many others I've tried. I am 1 of many reviews who also burnt them the first couple of times of using. This however is a good thing just human error and getting to know the machine. Wet kitchen roll straight away will clean it easily. Clasp is plastic but they all are just don't overfill it. Deep fill I'd say it's the same depth as any other to be honest.
