BBC I-Player won't support our 15 year-old Panasonic smart tv from the end of this month, but this nifty, unobtrusive little stick is the perfect solution. Set-up is easy if you follow the instructions carefully, and there seemed to be no requirement to set up an account or provide bank details as some have found. I shall probably buy another for the upstairs tv which has been abandoned by Netflix.

2nd Roku Stick…. Says it all!

I'm very impressed with this device. I bought it to give me access to the channels my Sky Q minibox couldn't but it has taken over all of the minis functions. The Sky Q minibox only runs your apps a 1080p but the Roku stick allows you to use Netflix, Amazon Prime and even Sky Cinema at 4k and Dolby Vision. My Sky Q Mini box is using the WIFI and there is an access point in the same room but it is always dropping connection to the Sky Q box meaning I need to reset its internet connection. Roku has not dropped the internet connection once. The signal has been flawless. The number of apps are incredible giving you an endless stream of content. Apps not available on the Sky Q Mini but ones I use a lot like Rumble are available and great. Overall this is an amazing piece of kit for very cheap. Just buy it and be amazed.
