The Nothing Phone (4a) is a 5G Android smartphone built around its cameras. The 3-camera setup runs from ultra-wide right through to long-range zoom, so you can fill the frame with your child at the far end of a school stage instead of squinting at a speck. Shots are handled by an image processing system that combines several exposures into a single photo for brighter, truer colour after dark, while the AI Eraser in the Nothing Gallery app lifts out photobombers and stray reflections with 1 tap, all on the phone rather than in the cloud. Video gets its own touch too: a small red light flicks on while you’re recording, borrowed from old film cameras, so everyone knows when they’re being filmed. Android 16.0 keeps the software current, and there’s memory and storage to spare for a few years of photos.
