Got a cookbook gathering dust? This Smeg oven and gas hob pack is a good reason to pull it down again. The 3000 Watts oven is multifunctional, so a slow-roasted shoulder of pork and a tray of weekend scones each get a setting that suits them. Circulaire cleans the air as you cook, which means a fruit crumble on the lower shelf won't pick up the flavour of whatever is above it. Over on the hob, four gas burners give you room to get the sides moving while the oven handles the main event, and the wok burner brings the heat up fast for a stir-fry. Clearing up is the easy bit, as Vapour Clean steams the grease loose and the enamel needs nothing more than a wipe.
