Cooking for a crowd is where this Neff N 50 built-in single oven comes into its own. The Slide&Hide® door retracts underneath the cavity, so it's out of the way while you baste a chicken or slide another tray in higher up. CircoTherm® moves hot air around fast enough to bake on three levels at once, and eight cooking programmes cover the everyday stuff, with a thermostat that climbs to 275°C for a properly crisp pizza base. Nice.

Cleaning happens two ways. The pyrolytic programme heats the interior until baked-on splashes turn to ash, then you wipe the powder out once things have cooled. For everyday marks, EasyClean softens residue with a drop of washing-up liquid and a little water. Rotary knobs and touch buttons handle everything else.
