Heat Pump tumble dryers are super-efficient, but to save the most energy, programmes may take a little longer to dry your clothes than on standard dryers. It’s important not to overload the drum either, so they can perform at their best.

Getting the washing dry won’t be a hassle with this Hotpoint heat pump tumble dryer. If you’re not sure which setting’s right, let the sensor drying function do the hard work. It detects which fabrics are in the drum, adapting the cycle settings to perfectly dry them off. And you won’t miss that stray sock when you’re unloading, since the drum light gives you a clear view inside. Even keeping this model clean is straightforward since it has an easy empty filter. Just pop it out, tip any lint into the bin, and slot it back in. Done.
