Sunday lunch gets a lot less stressful with this Smeg Classic double oven. The 70-litre main oven uses Circulaire hot air cooking, where a circular element wraps around the fan to give even heat distribution, and you can skip pre-heating on anything that cooks for longer than 20 minutes. Rapid pre-heating gets the cavity ready sooner. The fan with grill setting browns sausages and lamb chops evenly without drying them out, and the smaller 35-litre cavity underneath handles a tray of Yorkshire puddings at anything up to 270°C.

Inside, the Ever Clean enamel is acid-resistant and low in porosity, baked above 850°C so fat has far less to cling to while you cook. Wiping round the walls and the trays afterwards takes a cloth and not much else. Nice when you'd rather sit down after dinner.
