    This Smeg mini fridge shrinks the FAB range's 50s lines down to 40cm wide, so it slots in where a full-height fridge never could. Inside there are two glass shelves you can move around, three door balconies, and a retainer to stop bottles rolling about. The door is hinged on the right, and when you sit the fridge next to a wall or kitchen unit, leave a 175mm gap on that side so it can swing fully open. Worth measuring up first.

      We’ll get your new fridge in place, level the feet and take away all the bulky packaging for you. Your appliance will need to sit for a few hours before it’s plugged in. This is important as it ensures the gas coolant inside the fridge settles. Unfortunately, our drivers won't be able to fit the handles on your new appliance if they're packed separately. And this service doesn't include door reversal.

      If you’ve bought a new appliance but you don’t want us to connect it for you, all you’ll need to do is disconnect your old one and empty it, ready for us to pick up.

      If you haven’t bought a new appliance, we can still collect your old one and take it away for recycling. Our experts will recycle it safely and responsibly in our state-of-the-art facility.

      The cost of our Remove & Recycle service goes towards safely transporting the product to our recycling plant. Under the WEEE regulations, recycling costs are primarily covered by the product manufacturer.

      Also, while we’re picking up your appliance, if you’ve got any smaller kitchen electricals that need recycling – such as kettles, toasters or blenders – we’ll happily take those away too at no extra charge. Just pass them to your driver when we’re picking up your larger appliance.

      Just a quick note: if you’re buying a freestanding appliance to replace an old integrated one, we won’t be able to disconnect it
