I'd had my old Bosch dishwasher for 18 years so will be surprised if what I buy lasts as long, but the AEG has good reviews. The number of semi-integrated dishwashers available seems to have reduced in recent years, and as I'll be unable to purchase a new full-size panel that matches my kitchen cupboards, I needed to re-use the existing panel, necessitating the need for another semi-integrated model. The AEG 6000 was the only one I could find that had the cutlery shelf rather than a basket that had resulted in a lot of the cutlery not getting washed cleanly in the Bosch. AOs deal where you sign up as a member resulting in a huge discount on the purchase price, free delivery, unpacking of the new item, and free disposal of the old device was a no-brainer. Fitting the new item was very easy as the instructions were clear and simple. The result: a much quieter dishwasher than I had previously, and one that cleans everything immaculately. Very pleased!

Perfect in every way. Clear visible instructions on programming. Separate cutlery tray leaving lots of room for dishes.

Replacing a broken AEG dishwasher which we expected to be like for like but this was very fiddly to install - if you are not a capable DIYer get somebody else to do it. Machine is quiet and has a better choice of shorter cycles than our old machine and a cutlery tray rather than basket takes some getting used to but overall very pleased

We've only had our machine a week, so early days. It is a replacement for our Neff machine and doesn't seem as good quality, trays and rotary blade do not appear to be very robust, but washing results have been good enough so far. Interesting that the AEG 2-year warranty does not cover the blades and incurs a £100 call out charge,. We chose this machine as we wanted to continue to have a cutlery tray and, other than a Miele at twice the price, this was the only semi-integrated option we could find.

Unfortunately the top spray arm won't clear the tops of my dinner plates, which I consider to be normal size. Very disappointed as love the cutlery top shelf

Really helpful staff all round. I ordered the wrong type of dishwasher. Didn’t realise until it arrived. Cost nothing for them to take it back and replace with a correct one. (Other than price difference between the 2 machines. )
