Washing up gets a lot less thankless with this AEG Series 5000 dishwasher. The AirDry function pops the door open towards the end of the cycle so room-temperature air finishes the drying, which gives up to 3x better drying than a closed-door drying system. TimeSelect keeps the controls simple, because instead of hunting for a programme you just say how soon you want the dishes ready and the machine works out the rest. In a rush? QuickProgram gets a load clean in 30 minutes.

Inside, the EasyFlex drawer takes cutlery along with utensils in various shapes and sizes. The QuickLift upper basket raises or lowers with a handle on each side, so you can adjust the space above or below. With 14 place settings, it suits medium-to-large households, and the touch display shows the time remaining so you know when to start putting things away. Sorted.
